B40 Youth Dance Company is a contemporary dance programme providing technical training and performance experiences for aspiring young dancers in South East London. The company is directed by Julian Lewis (Artistic Co-Director of Traceworks Dance), managed by Greenwich Leisure Limited and based at The Plumstead Centre.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Through an intense process of weekly sessions, company members (11-19 years) will have the opportunity to improve their contemporary dance technique, learn and create exciting choreography and be invited to a variety of performance opportunities across London.

 

With a connection to professional dance company Traceworks Dance, this association aims to link the company to the wider contemporary dance community and provide members of the company with mentorship and advice into further dance training as well as additional opportunities to perform.

Greenwich Leisure Limited and weekly class/rehearsal sessions take place on Tuesdays

B40YDC is open to a variety of dance backgrounds. Due to COVID-19, the company are not currently performing but are busy with training and preparations for future performances.
