Rosa is an independent dance artist from Brighton. She graduated with a BA (first-class honours) in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2014 where she worked with Athina Valha, Lizzi Kew Ross, Naomi Lefebvre Sell and Melanie Clarke. Whilst in her second year of training, she performed as part of the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony directed by Danny Boyle. In 2014, she became a member of the Swallowsfeet Collective and co-producer for Swallowsfeet; creating original performance platforms for independent artists including the newly launched OOPS Festival.
As a dance maker and curator she is passionate about creating live experiential and distinctive performance for various audiences. She performs regularly with Tick Tock Bridget, touring site specific dance theatre project Rejoining Jane to cafes across the country. As a freelance performer she has worked with Sivan Rubinstein (SAMBA AND TEARS), Lizzi Kew Ross, Tony Thatcher and Marina Collard (The Kronos Quartet), Pickett Improv (Score 10) and visual artist Barbara Loftus.
Aside from her performance work, she has worked for Carousel, Oska Bright Festival and Corali Dance Company as a creative facilitator for disabled artists, and is course co-ordinator for Evolve Movement Education, a professional development programme for movement practitioners.
Rosa joined Traceworks Dance in September 2015.
